Dani Alu UK supplied and installed a Barrial M safety barrier system within a manufacturing facility in Maryport, Cumbria, helping create clear workforce demarcation and protected walkways alongside operational machinery.
The system has been installed to define safe access routes adjacent to production equipment, supporting safer movement throughout the workspace while helping separate personnel from active machinery zones.
The installation features Dani Alu’s fixed Barrial M barrier system, powder coated in Purple Violet (RAL 4407) posts and the high contrast Traffic Yellow (RAL 1023) for the handrail to maximise visibility within the factory environment and reinforce workplace safety awareness. The high contrast finish helps clearly identify designated pedestrian walkways and operational boundaries across the production floor.
The project was designed in line with the principles of BS EN ISO 14122-3, the recognised standard for permanent access to machinery. Within industrial environments where workflow, maintenance access and workforce safety must all operate together efficiently, clearly defined protection systems play an important role in day to day operations.
The Barrial M system was selected for its robust aluminium construction, clean visual appearance and suitability for demanding industrial applications. The modular nature of the system also allows it to integrate effectively into active manufacturing environments while enabling an efficient installation process on site.
